Get Adorable Small Teddy Bear Puppy
The teddy bear is a mixed breed dog, a cross between a Bichon Frise and a Shih Tzu, or poodle. Due to its appearance, this dog is called a small teddy bear puppy. This is a small breed of dog, approximately 12 inches tall and weighing between 12 and 14 pounds. The life expectancy of a stuffed animal is 15 to 18 years.
The teddy bear clings to a puppy that looks a lot like a teddy bear. We can trace the origins of the bear breed back to the 1950s when the Shichon and the teddy bear were crossed to create the perfect therapy dog for children with disabilities.
Most teddy bears have button noses and round eyes, but the similarities end there. Each of these puppies has a unique appearance and is very charming.
Their ears can stand up like a Cairnoodle or slide down like a Cavapoo's. Some have curved ears while others are pointed. Your bear's tail can be long or short, curly or straight. Some of them may not get enough bites. As cute as they are, the main attraction of bear dogs is the cloud, similar to fur and short in stature.
The structure and length of a bear's coat vary from dog to dog. Hybrid poodles tend to have looser hair, but this is not always the case. Depending on your mother bear, they may have straight, wavy, or curly hair that ranges from short to long.
Teddy bears are usually a mixture of colors, but they can also be solid colors. Any of the following colors can appear on your dog's coat: black, tan, white, brown, gray, apricot, fawn, red, or gold.
